Rapid Space Ltd is the exclusive, worldwide licence‐holder for the Rapido System. This is a new and innovative modular construction system that uses lightweight steel beams, legs, balustrades, staircases and accessories in the construction of temporary and permanent single, double and multi story structures.
Structures can be simple or complex, of standard design or bespoke. Rapid Space Ltd offers a free consultation and design service, assisting with technical and implementation expertise.
Birthed in South Africa in 2000, the newly rebranded Rapido Vision System now supplies
approximately 90% of the double story exhibition market in that country. Rapid Space Ltd has now launched in the UK, bringing a fresh wealth of experience and innovation to the European market.
Newly launched in the United Kingdom, Rapid Space is seeking to expand rapidly into the European market, with its range of unique, bolt‐together, modular steel structures.
Over the last nine years Billy Hunter has been developing the system to meet the exacting needs of the exhibition industry's need for double story exhibition structures that are sturdy, quick to build and reusable.
On 1 July 2009 Billy Hunter granted Rapid Space Ltd the world wide licence to manufacture, market and trade in his patented product.
The product was originally developed in South Africa where it currently provides approximately 90% of all double story exhibition stands in the exhibition market.
All manufacture currently takes place in South Africa and the United Kingdom, with Rapid Space's Head Offices located in Camberley, Surrey, UK.
The company aims to be bold, innovative, creative, inspired and entrepreneurial, encouraging its staff to develop in all these areas.
A foundational commitment of Rapid Space is that 10% of its shares will be given to a Charitable Trust that works with "the least, the last and the lost".
